Justine Alice Namawanda

Alice is a 12-year-old girl full of determination and a big smile. She lives with her single mother and three siblings. Her mother works hard, doing casual labor and selling charcoal, but it’s tough to provide for the family on her own.

Alice is in grade five, excelling in science and dreaming of becoming a teacher to provide free education to children in her village. She is always eager to help at home, whether it’s washing dishes, cooking, fetching water, or washing clothes. In her free time, she enjoys singing and dancing, and has even won a singing award at school.

With sponsorship, Alice can continue her education and work towards her dream of empowering others through teaching.

Abubakar "Abu" Sebatta

Abubakar is a humble and determined 12-year-old who loves learning and soccer. He excels in social studies and English and dreams of becoming a professional soccer player to help others in need.

He lives with his mother and three siblings in his aunt’s home. His mother works at a mobile money kiosk, but providing for four children alone is challenging. Despite these struggles, Abu remains hopeful, finding joy in soccer with his best friend, Kisakye. His skill earned him the Top Scorer award in his village team, a proud moment for his community.

Beyond school and sports, Abu enjoys reading and helping at home, taking on chores like washing dishes, cleaning, and fetching water.

Vanesa Nantukunda

Vanesa is a bright 10-year-old with a love for school, especially English. She dreams of becoming a nurse. Living with her mother, seven siblings, and grandmother, Vanesa faces many challenges, as her mother’s small farm does not generate enough income to support the family’s education.

Despite these hardships, Vanesa excels. She won an award for Best Singer in her school choir and helps at home with chores like cooking and gardening. In her free time, she enjoys reading and writing English stories, playing netball, and bouncing a ball.

Angela Nante

Angie is a kind and humble 10-year-old girl with a dream—to become a doctor and help people in her village. She is determined to continue her education despite the challenges she faces at home.

Angie lives in a family of seven with her grandmother, who works hard on a small farm to provide for them. However, meeting the needs of all the children is a daily struggle, making it difficult for Angie to focus fully on school.

A grade three student, Angie excels in Math and Literature and consistently performs well in her studies. She enjoys learning and hopes that education will open the doors to her future. At home, she helps her grandmother by cooking, digging, and fetching water. In her free time, she loves playing dodgeball and singing.

With sponsorship, Angie can stay in school; continue excelling in her studies, and take steps toward becoming a doctor.

Sison Azirwe

Sison is an 11-year-old boy with a dream to become a doctor. He lives with his parents and 11 siblings, all of whom are struggling to make ends meet. With limited income, his family faces challenges in providing for their basic needs, including his school fees.

Despite these hardships, Sison remains dedicated to his education. He is in grade five, where his favorite subject is science, and his goal is to help others through medicine. His dedication to his studies was recognized when he earned the Best Handwriting Award in his class.

At home, Sison helps his parents by grazing goats and collecting firewood. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer and is an active member of his church choir.

With your support, Sison can continue his education and work towards his dream of becoming a doctor, not only improving his own future but also helping his family and community.

Meet Gitta Ratif – A Future Teacher with a Big Heart

Gitta Ratif is an 8-year-old boy with a bright smile and an even brighter dream. Living in a small village with his single mother and four siblings, he understands the struggles of poverty but remains hopeful. He dreams of becoming a teacher to provide free education to children in his village who cannot afford to go to school.

Currently in grade two, Gitta loves learning, especially religious education, his favorite subject. When he is not studying, he enjoys playing soccer with friends, and his favorite color is red. Despite his young age, he is a hard worker, helping his mother by cleaning the compound, washing clothes, and working in their small garden.

Gitta’s mother washes clothes to support her children, but it is a daily struggle to meet their needs. Sponsorship would give Gitta the opportunity to continue his education, receive proper nutrition, and take a step closer to his dream.

Enock Namara

Enock is a motivated and ambitious 12-year-old boy who lives with his parents and 8 siblings. His parents raise poultry for income, but it’s not enough to provide for all their needs. Despite these challenges, Enock remains focused on his education and his future.

Enock is in grade four, and his favorite subject is math. His dream is to become a pediatric surgeon, so he can help children in his village. In his free time, he enjoys singing in the church choir and playing soccer. His favorite color is green, which reflects his hopeful and positive nature.

By supporting Enock's education, you can help him take a step closer to becoming the doctor he dreams of being.

George Muwuulya

George is a humble, disciplined, and ambitious 16-year-old with a clear vision for his future. He dreams of becoming an orthopedic doctor, driven by his deep interest in science—especially biology and math. His curiosity pushes him to spend his free time researching in the library with his friends, Remegio and Nicholas, always eager to find solutions to problems.

George lives in a family of six with his mother after being abandoned by his father. Despite the challenges, he remains focused on his education and his goals. Outside of school, he enjoys dancing, a hobby that brings him joy, and his favorite color is blue.

At home, George plays an active role in helping his family by fetching water from the well, washing dishes, and working on their garden. His dedication to both his studies and his responsibilities shows his determination to create a better future.

How It Works

Sponsoring a child is simple!

Choose a Child – Select a child you’d like to sponsor and contact us.
Receive a Welcome Package – We’ll send you a sponsorship package, including the child’s current photo, via email or mail.
Stay Connected – Your sponsored child will write to you twice a year, and you can sign up for email updates about the impact of your support in their community.
Write Back (Optional) – If you’d like, you can send letters to your sponsored child quarterly via our organization’s email or by mail.
